As a parent of four kids in the catholic board I applaud the move to remove wifi from the schools. Not for the scientific sake of wifi being bad for our brains, which there are no conclusive studies for this, but for the purpose of focusing kids on their school work. Even though school policy is that kids are not to bring ipods, ipads, tablets, cell phones and such to school, they do so anyways becoming a distraction in the classroom. Anything that can focus more kids on learning instead of text messaging, reading books instead of reading emails or doing math instead of watching Annoying Orange on Youtube is a step in the right direction.

1) With the federal Liberals voting to legalize pot, I guess they will next vote to merge with the Marijuana Party. Not the merger on the left everyone thought the Liberals would make.

2) McGuinty has more important things to deal with than the price of beer. This just gives me another reason to stop at a corner store in Quebec on my way home from Montreal to stock up on cheap beer, 2-4 for $24. I wonder if Ontarians are wishing they had voted for Tim “buck a beer” Hudak.
